We are thrilled to welcome Vivek Ramaswami to Madrona as an investment partner based in our Palo Alto office.
Vivek joins us from Steadfast Capital, where Karan had the pleasure of working with him for two years as they launched the private practice together and invested in companies like Wealthsimple, Forethought, Algolia, JumpCloud, Sendbird, and many others.
Before Steadfast, Vivek was a principal at Redpoint Ventures, where he spent over 5 years learning the craft of venture capital and partnering with companies like Hashicorp, SentinelOne, JustWorks, and many more. In a short time, he has proven to be a true partner to entrepreneurs, and he ranked in the Forbes 30 under 30 list for 2021. Vivek started his career at Goldman Sachs, working in the investment banking group in San Francisco for 2 years after graduating from Ivey Business School at Western University in Canada.
Over the last few years, Vivek has earned the respect of many entrepreneurs and VCs who have had the pleasure of knowing him. Vivek’s empathetic personality and commitment to rolling up his sleeves to help entrepreneurs come across in every interaction. He has consistently exhibited good judgment and high moral integrity in every role he has held in his career.
